Sea Cucumber

Sedna Sail & Dive is a crewed yacht charter company, as well as a dive center. We offer Balearic and Columbretes Islands crewed sailboat charters.

Our goal is to meet the adventure and excitement that can only be found in a crewed sailboat yacht charter so you will not have to worry about anything, combining it to your choice with a diving liveaboard. Consequently, you will be able to sail and discover some of the wonders of our Mediterranean Sea in the protected marine areas of the Balearic Islands and Columbretes Islands.

What you can expect

Our Beneteau Cyclades 50.5 – The “Sea Cucumber” – is a magnificent sailing cruise boat that we have specifically designed to combine sailing and diving comfortably. As a result, it works just perfectly as a Balearic Islands sail and dive sailboat.

Our homeport on mainland Spain is Puerto de Burriana (Castellón). Usually, in the Balearic Islands we operate from Ibiza or Mallorca. In Mallorca, our usual port is “Club Marítimo San Antonio de la Playa”, in Can Pastilla, 10 minutes from Palma airport.

We offer a unique combination of crewed sailboat charter holidays and diving liveaboard vacations. Therefore, we aim to enjoy the serenity and the adventure offered by the sea, finding nature in full swing.  We sail away from the frantic lifestyle that is almost unavoidable in today’s world. 

The “Sea Cucumber” is 15.30 meters long, so there is enough room to enjoy a great living space in comfort. She has a CD -radio mp3, TV with USB, table games and also a few little surprises. In addition to the Saloon-Galley and 3 heads, there are 6 Double cabins, 4 cabins for customers and 2 cabins for crew which provide us with an unbeatable design to enjoy the sea.

The total capacity is twelve people (counting with the crew), although we normally recommend for individuals capacity eight or nine passengers in double cabins in order to have a more comfortable experience. However for groups trip we can accomodate up to ten friends.

Because the accommodation is in double cabins with double berth, please expect having to share it with another person. This is why it is even better to come with friends! The beds present two mattresses, so we can prepare them with double sheets for a double bed or single sheets for each mattress for two individual (but together) beds. We will always do our best to please all passengers in the distribution of cabins. Priority of choice will be given to passengers who booked their place earlier.

Electricity plugs 12V (as well as 220V with inverter), shore supply 220V, warm water system, pressurized water system. In addition, two battery chargers, position lights, two 160w solar panels. The deck has a Bimini  top, sprayhood, bathing ladder, guard rail, deck shower, deck hatches, dinghy with outboard engine, cockpit table, cushions. In addition there are lifelines along the deck as well as a wooden railing.

Food on board

Our Chef Lucas does not have a fixed menu. For instance: vegetable cake (moussaka-like), sirloin with pepper sauce, bechamel spinach, baked rice with chorizo and other specialities, quinoa salad with mango  and other fruits, cous cous with chicken and vegetables, garlic prawns, different kind of hummus, etc. We always take into account any special diet (vegetarian, vegan, without lactose etc.).
