Sail away to a destination of fun, freedom, adventure and ultimate rejuvenation

Juliet Sailing & Diving offers customized live-aboard diving itineraries on board a majestic 100+’ schooner. Join us as we sail and dive the crystal clear, turquoise waters of the Bahamas from April to November, the wreck-strewn waters in the fall, and in the winter come with us to explore the beauty and romance of the Virgin Islands.

What you can expect

Juliet is a 104′ three masted schooner that began her life as a freight boat in 1974 and was redesigned as a dive boat in 2003 with comfort and safety in mind. There are 6 private cabins easily accessible from on deck or through the main companion way. The Main Salon seats 12 comfortably, has an entertainment centre with flat screen TV, DVD library and Sirius Radio. On deck you will find an expansive Sundeck for lounging, additional seating for al fresco dining, a crow’s nest in which you can take a watch, 12 tank stations with large private gear holds where tanks are immediately refilled, and a top-side shower with plenty of hot fresh water.

There are five crew members onboard the Juliet Sailing and Diving - Captain, Engineer/1st Mate, Cook, Dive Instructor and Marine Educator providing presentations and underwater fish ID scavenger hunts.

Meals, On Juliet, no one goes hungry

The cuisine on board is irresistible. Home-cooked meals are served buffet-style, complete with delicious desserts and plenty of prepared snacks in between. Beverages – including a wide variety of beers, wines and a full bar – are included! Have allergies? We can accommodate any and all allergies and dietary restrictions, just be sure to let us know in advance.

Highly qualified with years of experience in the galley and on the water, our Chef is able to provide quality home-cooked meals in any and all sea conditions, and can accommodate all dietary preferences and restrictions – all you have to do is ask.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our crew

While our main focus is safety (and we certainly know how to have fun), your five-member crew will also provide you with the highest level of service, professionalism, knowledge, enthusiasm and experience while making you feel like part of the diving family!

Our Captains are some of the most experienced in the dive industry, many with over ten years of experience. All of our Captains are required to be at least 150 ton United States Coast Guard Masters which means they’ve endured rigorous training and testing to ensure the highest level of safety and knowledge. But they are certainly not all work and no play! They are also experienced 'Free Divers' and knowledgeable Scuba Divers as well – ask your Captain to take you diving! You won’t be disappointed.

Dive Master and Marine Biologist, also our safety officers, all of our Dive Masters are SCUBA Instructors with many years of experience and are fully trained in CPR and First Aid. They are passionate about what they do, sharing their passion for the ocean with guests and having a blast doing what they love. Ask about available certification courses on board. Not every liveaboard has an Educator on board – but we do! Each morning you can learn about marine topics including Corals, fish ID, wild Dolphins, Sharks and Lionfish. Don’t miss out on the Fish of the Dive!

Planning Bahamas Trips Arrival, Departure, and Disembarkation

  • All Bahamas trips depart from downtown Miami. Boarding and departure times vary depending on the trip:
  • 7-day trips depart on Saturday afternoon with boarding at noon; return to Miami on Friday morning by 7am.
  • 4-day (and special 5-day) trips depart on Friday evening with boarding at 5pm; 4-day trips return on Tuesday morning by 7am, 5-day trips return Wednesday morning by 7am.
  • 10-day trips depart on Saturday afternoon with boarding at noon; return to Miami on the following Monday by 7am.
  • If arriving before boarding time you can drop luggage off on board and explore Miami until it is time to board. Please do not plan to board the boat before boarding time.
  • All Bahamas trips clear US Customs back into the US at 7am on your day of return, and disembarkation is at 9am. Plan return flights departing after 11AM from MIA, or after noon from FLL. We often offer dives until 3pm day before disembarkation, so plan no-fly time accordingly. Always follow your computer’s recommendation and know your personal limitations.

Planning Florida Keys Dive Trips

  • Our Florida Keys itineraries can be either 4-day, 7-day or 10-day trips, but all depart from downtown Miami. Boarding and departure times vary depending on the trip, so please make sure you know your departure and arrival date and time before booking flights to Miami.
  • If you are arriving well before boarding time you are welcome to drop your luggage off on board with a crew member and explore Miami until it is time to board. Please do not plan to board the boat before boarding time.
  • 7-day trips depart on Saturday afternoon with boarding at noon. Juliet returns to Miami on Friday morning
  • 4-day (and special 5-day) trips depart on Friday evenings with boarding starting at 5pm. 4-day trips return on Tuesday morning (5-day trips return Wednesday morning).
  • 10-day trips depart on Saturday afternoon with boarding starting at noon and return to Miami on the following Monday morning.
  • All trips disembark at 9am on their day or return. Flights after 11AM departing from MIA, or noon departing from FLL are ok. Allow a little extra time on weekdays to allow for traffic.

Air Travel to St. Croix

  • If you are flying in the day of departure (Friday) please be sure to include your airline and flight information on your passenger information form so that we know when you will be arriving. If you are arriving well after boarding time, don’t worry. We plan to stay at the Fredricksted Pier and dive throughout the afternoon and evening so even a flight arriving later in the day is ok. If you would like to plan to fly in the day before, please note that St. Croix is not a huge tourist destination and as such hotels are hard to come by and book up years in advance! Please plan ahead.
  • On your day of return, disembarkation is at 9am. To allow for ample no-fly-time we recommend booking flights that depart after noon to avoid having to cut your diving short on the day before return.
  • If your flight or check-in time is not until later in the afternoon, you are welcome to leave your luggage on board Juliet while you explore St. Croix until your time of departure. We can help arrange for tour vans and transportation.
  • Getting to Juliet in St. Croix, The boat is located at the Fredricksted Pier near downtown Fredricksted. Just ask any taxi driver to take you to the cruise ship pier.

Air Travel to St. Thomas

  • If you are flying in the day of departure (Saturday) please be sure to include your airline and flight information on your passenger information form so that we know when you will be arriving. If you are arriving well after boarding time for your flight, let the office know – don’t worry, we won’t leave without you!
  • Often we have found that flight schedules get in later than our planned departure time, or to avoid problems with baggage many passengers prefer to stay overnight the night before St. Thomas trips. See Hotel Recommendations below.
  • On your day of return, disembarkation is at 9am. To allow for ample no-fly-time we recommend booking flights that depart after noon to avoid having to cut your diving short on the day before return (we will typically offer dives up until 4pm).
  • If your flight or check-in time is not until later in the afternoon, you are welcome to leave your luggage on board Juliet while you explore Charlotte Amalie until your time of departure.
  • Getting to Juliet in St. Thomas The boat is located on Veterans Drive by the Ferry Terminal in Charlotte Amalie. By Taxi from St. Thomas Cyril E. King International Airport (STT), instruct the driver to take you to the St. John’s ferry on Veterans Drive across from the Windward Passage Hotel.
