About the Matahariku

The Matahariku is 133 feet (40.4m) long and 30 feet (9.2m) wide. The Matahariku's diving activities are plentiful: Guided dives and snorkelling. Detailed attention has gone into the design of Matahariku. The Matahariku's goal is to offer the best in terms of underwater experience and leisure-time activities, without compromising any of the comforts, usually found in land-based hotels.

The ship is a gorgeous Yacht, built to venture the high seas and set to delve into the secrets of Neptun's realm in Bali. The Matahariku's trips were scheduled in a way that the dive sites can be dived at the ideal time. Compared to other liveaboards this boat is different because it boasts beautiful accomodation and world-class service. Part of its philosophy is also that even when sailing around remote islands, there's no reason to forego fine dining. They believe that a great meal crafted with care and love ensures that there is enough strength for the following dives! Rather than the standard liveaboard food, you will be offered a choice from its fine cuisine. Snacks all day will ensure that no one will go hungry during their trip.

The Matahariku has 3 types of cabins: luxe cabin, suite and standard cabin. The ship is outfitted with air-conditioning. For activities and entertainment besides the ubiquitous underwater activities, the Matahariku provides audio-video entertainment and snorkeling, windsurfing, kayaking and fishing.

About the team

The team consists of 11 people. There are 4 dive professionals on board, who will ensure that the guests have a great diving experience. On the Matahariku, they speak Dutch, English and German.
