Sierra Leone enjoys great diversity of aquatic life with many species being found here. The tropical climate combined with the diverse environment ranging from savannah to rainforests offers exceptional diving.
Whilst mainland diving is popular, you can also take a boat out to the Banana Islands. The shape and the length of the island provide clear and calm waters at any weather all year round.
As well as pristine coral reefs, the two main islands, Dublin Island and Ricketts Island, have sunken shipwrecks off their coasts, dating from the island's colonial days.
