If you’re a seasoned diver, chances are you’ve already started planning your upcoming dives for Missouri. If not, Bonne Terre Mine is highly regarded as one of the best adventures in the United States with one of the largest man-made caverns. Its underwater pillars, shafts, archways, walls and ceilings stretch for miles in all directions, a sprawling maze beneath the town.

Beaver Lake Scuba Park is an underwater playground for all. Sunken boats, an airplane and even a pirate ship are here as well as the local’s residents: crappie, longear sunfish, catfish and walleye.

When to dive in Missouri

The best time to go diving in the lakes in Missouri is between April- October.

We highly recommend divers interested in the Bonne Terre Mine dive to contact local operators for up to date information on certification levels needed for this dive.

The main airports for Missouri are Lambert- St Louis International (STL) and Kansas City International (MCI). Kansas airport Is located 32km/20miles northwest of Missouri.

If you are travelling from Europe, St Louis International (with stopover) takes around 8hrs and 13hrs to Kansas City from parts of Europe.
