Diving in Arkansas

Like most inland states, Arkansas has a collection of lakes and flooded quarries for the local and visiting divers. Lake Ouachita, renowned for its clarity host over 30 dive sites. Bass, Crayfish and Shad are among the residence spotted here. Purpose-sunk attractions are marked by buoys to make navigation simple along a sloping bottom.

Beaver Lake boasts 487 miles of shoreline covering 28,000 acres. Here, an old bus at a depth of 15-20 feet can be found, which makes for a great swimthrough, plus many sculptures have placed by people in the lake over the years. The lake's natural features of forests, ledges, and walls are waiting to be explored with plenty of freshwater life to encounter along the way.
